So who will you vote for in this coming election? Will it be Obama? Will it be McCain? Or maybe you are voting for an Independent? Either way, there is always controversy, attacks and gossip surrounding any election. This person did this, this person said that, this person voted this way in the past. On and on it goes. One thing that has been really controversial this past year is Barack Obama’s Church and Pastor. Obama claims to be a Christian while some seem to think that he is a Muslim. If Barack were a Christian, he would need to know how to become one. How does one become a Christian? The first thing a person must do is realize that they are a sinner. We can see what kind of sinner we are by looking at the Ten Commandments. #9 says, “Thou shalt not lie.” Have you ever lied before? #8 says, “Thou shalt not steal.” Have you ever stolen before? #7 says, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” Jesus said that lust is the same as adultery (Matthew 5:28). Have you ever lusted after someone before? #3 says, “Thou shalt not take God’s Name in vain.” Have you ever done that? If you have broken just these four of the Ten Commandments, then you are a liar, a thief, an adulterer at heart and a blasphemer. You are a lawbreaker that deserves JUSTICE. God’s punishment for you is HELL FOREVER. But, the fact that you are still alive means that Mercy and Grace are still available to you. If you will Repent of your sins (turn from them) and put your Faith in Jesus Christ, God will forgive you of your sins and you will become Born Again. That’s why Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross and rose again on the 3rd day. He wants to Pardon you of your sins, Wash them away by His Shed Blood, Reconcile you to God so you can have a relationship with Him and Empower you to live Holy. God wants to change you so that you will live your life for Him instead of for yourself. This is “Change We Can Believe In.” Don’t reject God’s great Love for you through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ any longer! You could die today!
