One principle that every new Christian should learn right away is the discipline of reading his/her Bible immediately.  If you would like to read your Bible all the way through in one year, we recommend going here.  This site offers many different reading plans that you can follow in order to read the whole Bible through in a year.  If you don't have a Bible, contact us and we will get you one as soon as we can.  Otherwise you can just read the Bible online, by going here .  We recommed new Christians getting the NKJV Study Bible.  We think that the NKJV is the best translation of the Bible. This study Bible has lots of commentary and articles throughout the it to help a new convert figure things outs. Although, we don't agree with all of the commentary, we trust that God will lead new believers into all truth. Start reading the Bible today!  It is a light unto your feet and a lamp unto your path!  Hide it in your heart that you will not sin against God (Psalm 119:9-11)!  Another principle that a new Christian should learn right away, is the importance of fellowship with other believers.  Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a good, Biblical Church these days that teaches sound doctrine and good theology as well as care about reaching the lost for Jesus. Pray for God to lead you to the right people and the right local Church and He will. Remember, it's not about going to a big building once or twice a week. It's about fellowship with a group of Bible Believing, Bible Obeying Followers of Christ.

For new Christians, we also recommend taking a look at the teachings of David Bercot.  He teaches the historic Christian faith and backs up everything he teaches with quotes from the Early Church Fathers as well as from the Bible.  Just click on the banner above to go to his website.  There are plenty of books, free writings and teachings CD's to help you on your way as a new Christian.
