Some say that all religions are just different roads leading to the same place and the same God. But, these religions totally contradict each other. They all have very different perceptions of who "God" is. Christianity is the only religion on the front that says eternal life is a free gift. All the others think that you can work for or "earn" your salvation in some way. To understand what I am talking about, let's look at the Ten Commandments: #9 Ever lied? #8 Ever stolen? #3 Ever taken God's name in vain? If you have done these things then you are a liar, a thief and a blasphemer. You are guilty before God and deserve to be punished! That punishment is HELL! No matter how much "good" you have done or will do, you still deserve to be punished for your sins. Your "good' deeds can't wash away your sins! But, God wants to show you forgiveness, grace and mercy. That is why He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for your sins. HE is THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE!
